2014年3月21日，香港中文大学（深圳）正式成立。

2022年3月21日，香港中文大学（深圳）年满八周岁。

在香港中文大学（深圳）八年办学历程栉风沐雨，师生、家长和社会各界朋友给予了诸多支持和青睐，让大学在科研、学科建设、国际交流等方面有所成果。

在大学八岁生日之际，本期“春华秋实”为您带来五位国际生Twinkle Sujanani、Jordan Nathaniel、So Ry Park、Dokyung Lee 和Laurensia Shinna Darmadji 的分享和祝福。

Twinkle Sujanani

SME, Diligentia College

As Lao Tzu once said, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. And I’m so glad that the CUHK-Shenzhen was the step I took for my undergraduate journey.

As the first-ever international student of the CUHK-Shenzhen, it gives me great honor to be celebrating the 8th anniversary of the university.

The University has played an instrumental role in shaping me into the individual and professional I am today - a manager in the corporate world with experience working in both New York and Hong Kong.

When I joined the university in 2014, there was just one college, one campus, a class of 300 students, and one academic school (The School of Management and Economics, SME). Now, 8 years later, CUHK-Shenzhen has 6 academic schools, 1 graduate school, 4 colleges, 120+ partner universities, a vast campus with 8000+ students. The university has truly grown immensely in the span of a few years.

In my 4 years as an undergraduate student here, I experienced cultural exchanges, attended 3 study abroad programs, collaborated with ambitious peers, participated in case competitions, received funding for a startup, hosted numerous events and so much more. This highlights the numerous opportunities that CUHK-Shenzhen offers to help students discover their full potential.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the President Professor Xu, all Vice Presidents, all my professors, my classmates, and my peers for making my undergraduate journey so memorable.

As a proud alumna, I wish CUHK-Shenzhen and all those associated with the university continued growth and all the very best!

Jordan Nathaniel

My name is Jordan and I'm currently in the last semester of my Bachelor's studies in CUHK-Shenzhen. Although I have been away from campus for a long time due to the pandemic, I treasure the fond memories I had in the first few years. Through the university website and social media accounts, I witnessed the explosive growth of the university with the addition of schools and facilities.

I wish CUHK-Shenzhen the very best and congratulations on the eighth anniversary! I am looking forward to what the future brings to CUHK-Shenzhen.

Happy 8th Anniversary, CUHK-Shenzhen! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of this community and the growth of our university. As one of the lucky students who was on campus since the pandemic hit, I have grown immensely - not only as a student but as a human being. I have learned to develop a wider and positive perspective towards my studies, my life, and my relationships, which makes my heart race with excitement.
